I ordered the Cantonese Style Duck and found SHARDS OF PLASTIC EMBEDDED IN IT. I first thought it was a bone from the duck but upon spitting it out, we realised it was PIECES OF PLASTIC!!! I decided to seek assistance from the nearest member of staff who so happened to be Chinese; she first pretended to not understand me but recognised my growing frustrations and was completely nonchalant to the issue. She simply stated ‘What do you want me to do? Do you want another one?’ Not an ounce of remorse for the danger that the restaurant had put myself and my husband in! Maybe if we were white tourists, the duty of care towards the situation would have been vastly different… The waiting staff, more specifically the lady with the locks and the Indian lady with the blonde hair were extremely apologetic, but that was simply not enough!!
I URGE ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING VISITING MEMORIES OF HONG KONG IN RODNEY BAY TO NOT VISIT!! THEY ARE A DANGER TO THE PUBLIC AND DO NOT CARE TO RECIFY THEIR HAZARDOUR BEHAVIOUR!!
